Grüner Veltliner
Ried Rosengartl „M“

Grüner Veltliner newly interpreted! Young winemaker Maximilian relies on new French oak for his Grüner Veltliner Ried Rosengartl. Some of the berries are fermented together with the must for a few weeks. After two years in 600-litre barrels, the wine is bottled. Salty – mineral, exotic fruit nuances, accentuated by the delicate influence of the wooden casks.

The terraces of the Rosengartl Ried border on the left with the mighty Wechselberg, with its barren gneiss soils, and on the right, with the loess and gravel-baering Stangl, whose fertile soils provide the best conditions for this bold wine. The properties of both sites interact here and form the unique microclimate of the Rosengartl.
