Brut Rosé
Reserve

elegantly fruity, sparkling, Brut Rosé Reserve! Not only as an aperitif, but also as a meal accompaniment, our Rosé Reserve is a perfect choice for aromatic dishes. The Zweigelt grapes come from the Strasser Hasel, where chalky loess soils ensure an optimal nutrient ratio. The sun-drenched vineyards are made for the fine cherry fruit in our Brut Rosé Reserve.

The first Zweigelt grapes to be picked, at the beginning of September, are reserved for the base wine of our Brut Rosé Reserve. After the chilled grapes have macerated for a brief time, the freshly pressed must makes its way into large Manhartsberger oak barrels, where the base wine ages on the lees for 12 months, following malolactic fermentation. After bottle fermentation, our Brut Rosé Reserve sits in the bottle for another 2 years.
