Riesling
Strass im Strassertal

Slate, loess, gravel and Riesling! The Strass vineyards are united here in one wine. The loess and gravel-containing plots of the Stangl provide the classic aromas of stone fruit and citrus zest. Combined with the rugged schist soils of the Gaisberg, which bring out mineral notes, the image of the Strassertal locality is presented in a wine.

When one is familiar with the differences between the individual microclimates in the Kamptal, a juxtaposition of wines with delicate minerality, pronounced fruit aromas and lively acidity often come into the mix. Nutrient-rich soils are responsible for this. The stone fruit and citrus aromas that are typical of this variety, which are brought to the fore by a brief maceration period, result in a versatile companion for food.
