Our wines

Brut
Reserve

The versatile aperitif from our cellar! The taste of the Strasser vineyards when sparkling. One third of the grapes for our Brut Reserve come from the Stangl Ried, where Pinot Noir ensures fine fruit in the later sparkling wine. The remaining two thirds consist of Weißburgunder and Chardonnay & Grüner Veltliner grapes, which are picked from the Strasser Hasel in early September.

grape variety:
1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc, 1/3 Grüner Veltliner
vineyard:
Stangl, Hasel
soil:
chalky loess

The grapes for our base wine are harvested from late August to early September. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the cuvée is left on the lees for one year before being bottled for the final fermentation. It is only after 36 months that the Brut Reserve emerges from our cellar, 12 metres underground, before being disgorged.

tasting notes

light yellow-green, silver reflections, fine and sustained mousseux. Delicate yellow tropical fruit, some biscuit and blossom honey, inviting fragrance.
