Sauvignon Blanc
Hasel

The exotic one in the Hasel family! Sauvignon Blanc in new French barrique. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the Strasser Hasel bring out high sugar gradations. The stripped walls of foliage ensure optimal sun exposure. This causes flavours to develop in the berry skin, which gives the Sauvignon Hasel its intense tropical fruitiness.

chalky loess

The ripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested in mid-October. After gentle whole-cluster pressing, the must makes its way exclusively into new French barriques. Acid degradation takes place following spontaneous fermentation. After maturing on the lees for more than 12 months, our Sauvignon Blanc Ried Hasel sits for a few months in bottles until it reveals its full splendour.
