The first two weeks of September are blocked for harvest preparations. While our 1ÖTW Erste Lagen can be tasted at Schloss Grafenegg for the Single Vineyard Summit, there is still plenty to do in the cellar.
Our team is busy cleaning wine presses, hoses, tanks, and so on. Meanwhile, Maximilian is taking berry samples from our vineyards.
Now it’s important to determine the first day of the harvest based on specific ripeness parameters of the berries. In our harvest diary, we will keep our wine enthusiasts informed about the daily progress of the harvest.
