Weinbrand
XO 1982

The grand finale after a special culinary experience! As the conclusion to a one-of-a-kind multi-course menu, or with a cigar from the Dominican Republic, our Grüner Veltliner brandy, matured in small wooden barrels, 12 metres underground beneath the Gaisberg, accepts the challenge!

tiefgründiger Löss

It was Johann Topf II who refined Grüner Veltliner into brandy in the old cellar vaults in Strassertal’s Placherkellergasse in the early 1980s. The small storage barrels were moved to our deep cellar under the Gaisberg at the beginning of the millennium. After more than 35 years in 190-litre barrels, the Grüner Veltliner brandy was bottled.
